What I Did On This Project

The song talks about the plight of the 99% against the 1%, and we came up with a story of how the workers of a fat cat CEO plot their revenge once they’ve had enough of his bullshit.

Shot entirely on two Canon 7Ds and one Canon T2i. A plethora of lenses were used (Canon and Sigma) to cover the different shots, and I made sure we used the Technicolor Cinestyle color profile with a ColorChecker Passport to ensure all cameras were in sync.

I edited in Premiere Pro with some of the special effects done by my friend David in After Effects. Workflow included using Red Giant’s LUT Buddy, Colorista II for coloring, and Mojo for setting the tone. Keying was done to separate the band members from the blue screen. We did most of the post production in separate locations, using Google Hangouts extensively to collaborate in real-time.
