Was brought in as a freelancer to help with a rebrand for a robotic pizza tech startup. I designed the stickers for packaging as well as all of the vehicle wraps (trucks, fiats, scooters). After the rebrand I worked on advertising and social media campaigns.

The problem
I was originally brought on board at Zume Pizza to help with a full rebrand. Their old logo and look and feel just weren't cutting it anymore, and we had free rein to impress our CEO and founder. Some of my designs were shown above and adjacent are the final before and after logos, which I helped polish from one of our team members. After the rebrand, we worked closely with the marketing team to solve the problem of getting Zume Pizza into every household in the south bay area.

What I did
Was initially part of the new logo exploration, developed the livery for all our vehicles (trucks, FIAT 500s, and scooters), designed the stickers for our packaging (pizza pod, salads, cookies), and then worked closely with the marketing team for all social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and advertising needs (out of home billboards and mailers).
Logo exploration
Designed various logo options during the rebrand. Although the chosen design was not mine, I was able to give input and help polish the final logo. I was thankful to be a part of a collaborative team where constructive feedback was the norm.
Vehicle livery design
Once the logo was chosen I then developed the livery design for all of our vehicles. This had to scale from small electric scooters all the way to big trucks.
Advertising
During my time at Zume Pizza I worked with our marketing team to develop all sorts of social media campaigns, out of home billboards, and mailers, among other marketing needs. I was called upon to create animations and videos for our social media channels on multiple occasions, all animated, edited and mixed by myself.
Packaging sticker design
I designed the stickers that went on our pizza pods, salads, and cookies. Worked closely with our culinary team to ensure we met all food and legal requirements.

Results
Unfortunately, Zume Pizza shut down operations in early 2020. During my time working on the brand I was able to be a part of launching several new markets, and seeing how our efforts across all our advertising channels helped sustain sales. We shifted our design resources away from Zume Pizza well before its demise, but we still remember our work fondly.
